Revista de Vinhos highlights the path chosen by Marcelo Villela and Patricia Berardi in the production of Textura Wines

In issue 432 of November 2025, Revista de Vinhos magazine, with text and tasting notes by José João Santos, highlights that Marcelo Villela de Araújo continues to forge his own path in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela.

"A Brazilian determined to live in Porto, he invested in wine in Dão but with a clear advantage: he knew the production philosophy he wanted to follow and the type of wine with which he identified. He currently produces an average of 90,000 bottles per year, 50% of which are destined for export - the US, Norway, the UK, and Japan are the top destinations. The 28 hectares of vineyards are organically farmed and most of the wines will be certified as such from the recently completed 2025 harvest."
