Textura Wines is a family project started in 2018 in Dão on the slopes of Serra da Estrela and involving organic viticulture, terroir wine production and wine tourism.
After sourcing existing vineyards, in a region of small growers, we have 30 ha of vineyards in 9 different plots in Vila Nova de Tazem and Penalva do Castelo.
Our low intervention winemaking, reflects the soil and location of each of our vineyards, leading at wines with character, elegant and distinct.
Our fundamental principles are based on respect for local nature with its biodiversity (soil, flora and fauna, people and community); the preservation of resources (natural and cultural) and regional development are the basis of our fundamental principles.
All business activities undergo a rigorous assessment of socio-environmental impacts, elimination of the usage of resources, substitution of materials, adoption of waste as resources, as well as recovery of waste and the sharing of infrastructure and resources with other producers.
